Following the project HEN , I wanted to continue a story in the theater of new sexual and romantic identities.
The Round of Arthur Schnitzler constitutes a historical, theatrical starting point for to imagine a new round, a complete rewrite that I proposed to the author and screenwriter Yann Verburgh.
The project dramaturgical retains the original structure: the 10 encounters but we create characters and new situations which shed light on romantic and gender identities rarely discussed in the theater (bisexuality, polyamory, asexuality, transgender love, etc.).
My desire is to show with sensitivity and accuracy, a great freedom of feelings, a complexity still sometimes to assert our political bodies. Each situation as at the origin of the play can reveal wounds, desires, frustrations, constructions and gender clichés, social relationships but also great moments of joy and affirmations of identities. A show that should also be about love quite simply.
